Shout out to my Woodchuck brothers

Stuff isn't too bad, but it is one of those that I could only drink one.....too sweet for me.

Back in my early/mid-20s, I drank that stuff a lot. I haven't in forever. As I've gotten older, I really have started to dislike sweet drinks. I'd drink one of them (like I've drank one Tilt or Hard Ice Tea before), but never make them a focal point of my night.

Chick beer, 'nuff said. Thread title should read, "Shout out to all my Woodchuck sisters."

The stuff isn't too bad at all. It was easy to pass off to people when you didn't want them to smell beer on your breath haha

Haha, good stuff I gotta agree.

I always enjoy a refreshing Woodchuck draft when I go to the Dublin Pub in the Oregon District (in Dayton). Early afternoon is always best. Move to regular beer as the afternoon rolls on. It's a tasty change and, yes, a beverage chicks actually appreciate being offered, especially if they've never had one... hint hint... The gf had a six-pack in the fridge for us when I got there for Christmas Eve.

Makes me want to brush my teeth everytime I have had one.

I'm not a fan, but I know one of my buddies was drinking it on tap at the Red Brick here in town. $5 for a 32 oz. Mega Mug.

    I have never had it

    Suddenly I changed my mind.

Yea it's only a few bucks for a 6 pack, and if you drink 20 of anything it'll get ya drunk!

Agreed. Half a Woodchuck is perfect. Anything after that is too much.

The only beer I think actually tastes good. Love the granny smith woodchuck.

Woodchuck is one of the few gluten free beers. My son was diagnosed with Celiac last year and ever since, my wife and I keep our eye out for gluten free foods.

Woodchuck and Redbridge (made by Busch) are the 2 most popular g-free beers.

Through fall and winter I usually start with a Woodchuck/Hornsby's/Harpoon/Strongbow if we go somewhere and they have it.

Used to get $5 pitchers of Woodchuck at the Marietta Brewing Company on Thursday nights while I was in college.

Not bad prefer Magners or Strongbow
  • j_crazy
I can't get drunk on it. But it's a good way to start the night.

I just had Strongbow tonight for the first time and it was really good, very similarto Woodchuck. What are the other beers that are similar to Strongbow or Woodchuck? I'll have to check to see if any stores around me have Strongbow.

    Granny Smith Woodchuck is awesome.

Hornsbys...not nearly on the same level as Strongbow and Woodchuck, but same general idea.

I prefer Strongbow if its on tap. But Woodchuck Dark and Dry is very good, as well as Amber and Granny Smith.
