What is the best headbanging song?
-
BCSbunkWhat metal song is the best for headbanging get ready to tear stuff up and kick your ass?
any nominations?
Mine is this can it be topped? I doubt it.

Gardens35Muskrat Love.

osudarby08Raining Blood- Slayer. You get to headbang and go absolutely crazy depending on the part of the song. A lot of Slayer songs have great breakdowns.
that is so badass.
Other good ones:
Four Horsemen- Metallica
This Darkened Heart- All That Remains.
Pretty much any decent metalcore band has good breakdowns which are good for headbanging. -
2kool4skoolMaybe not as good as the original, but Metallica's live tribute to "Walk" was pretty solid IMO.
-
End of LineAnything by All That Remains.

Trueblue23Pretty Ricky, Grind On Me..
Oh wait, I was thinking about Fab4's thread earlier hahahha -
DESCENTdmc
probably two of my favorite hardcore bands of all time. Ringworm is def a top 5/all time for me, with All Out War fallin in shortly after. all releases by those bands are awesome, too bad victory records wont back them much and yet wont let them out of contract.BCSbunk wrote:

DESCENTdmcConverge - "the saddest day"
converge doing in 1998 what most of the shity "metalcore" bands wish they could do now. oh i miss the day when he term metalcore wasnt a joke and the punchline shitty bands in womens haircuts
the buildup to and the breakdown starting at about 1:50 makes me want to throw things when i see them live -

Here is something for you. Let me know what you think and be honest it will not hurt my feelings. This is an awesome band but kind of obscure. A little more postrock rather than hardcore but has both elements.DESCENTdmc wrote: Converge - "the saddest day"

Here are a few of their tunes one of my favorite band to just blast too.
Agalloch rips but a little slower pace. Listen in order.
Not unlike the waves- Agalloch
Falling snow-Agalloch
Limbs-Agalloch This piece is hauntingly beautiful. If you follow me.

DESCENTdmcnot bad, not really my thing though, its well done for what it is.
-
DESCENTdmcDiecast - "remember the fallen"
i also miss this line-up of this band, they lost the singer, which sucked, then they lost the drummer. after those two left they started playin crappy metal -

I can not get over seeing an the old "gay" dude lead singer with leather pants, no shirt and suspenders! Who in their right mind wears leather pants and suspenders?believer wrote: You've Got Another Thing Coming -
Heretic
Desultory -- "Life Shatters"
Old school Swedish death that always pumps me up. Which is interesting as the lyrics are pretty depressive/suicidal. -
Early CuylerThe Ghost Inside - "Faith or Forgiveness"
