Mangino making the kid bear crawl across the field (the turf was so hot it left his hands with 2nd degree burns) was over the top. I having nothing against the bear crawling part its that it actually left the kid with 2nd degree burns and the pictures looked horriable. I think he deserved his firing. Leach was fired not because of this kid or this story he was fired because the AD and President did not like him. He was just to ecentric for them and unwilling to change his ways. This story was just an out for them to fire him without having to pay him.
