If this SBTB thread is going to reach epic proportions like the one on that pitiful place we used to post, we're gonna have to step it up.

    How about some favorite episodes...

I think mine would have to be "Mystery Weekend".

"The gang visit a mansion for a weekend after winning a competition. However, a murder attempt is made on the host who soon goes missing, and the gang has to find out who is responsible."

    Take your pick:

Pill poppin' Jessie is by far my favorite episode.

"Jessie's Song" is definitely a classic.

I know for a fact that Rod_Belding loves that one!

    Mystery Weekend is pretty solid.

    Some of my favorites are:

The Fabulous Belding Boys (Rod and Dick duking it out)
Fake I.D.'s (Jeff and 'The Attic')
Drinking and Driving (Driving Lisa's mom's Mercedes into a telephone pole) Tori episode, but excellent nonetheless.
Home for Christmas Part 1&2 (the one with the homeless father & daughter, gets a tear rolling down my face everytime)

Nice choices. I really hated that Jeff guy that Kelly dated. It just wasn't right for Zack and Kelly to be apart.

I'm also a fan of "All in the Mall"...Screech screws up the plan to get tickets to the U2 concert. The gang finds $5,000 in the mall, but the money's true owners (or so they think) chase them to get it back. Turns out they're on "Candid Video" and as a reward, they get free tickets to the U2 concert anyway.

    haha...that never gets old.

That episode premiered on November 3, 1990. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago.

I felt all the generic yellow and black shoeboxes in that episode made it quite difficult to find the box with the money. Excellent job on the prop team and writers on that one!

Oh I am certainly a fan, just seems like this particular promotional photo is exploiting a talented young actress solely on her ability to wear school inappropriate tube tops and overly-waist-sized jeans.

haha...I thought you were the cooler Belding, Rod?

That sounds like something your brother might say. :)

you're right... just wish she was a stewardess.

    rod,

Screetch's spaghetti sauce and the one with the Ruski chess player had to be two of the better episodes of all time.

    The all time best episode?

    The Zack Attack.
  • Heelz

Is this better? the jeans aren't quite as oversized.

One of my favorite episodes is the Slater quits wrestling to cook....and screech is in the locker room acting like he's on a dirt bike and Slater: "Screech what are you doing?" Screech: "cruising for chicks" Slater: "In the guys locker room"?!
  • darbypitcher22
    God she's gorgeous
  • Rod_Belding
Classic line from this morning's "Drinking and Driving" episode:
"It's not everyday a truckload of bananas spills all over the freeway...terrible thing about those monkeys though." -Mr. Belding

    Wednesday's Lineup on TBS:

    7:00am Love Machine
    7:30am Class Rings
    8:00am Isn't It Romantic
    8:30am Video Yearbook
  • ironman02
    Class Rings at 7:30am.

That has to be the one with the infamous ring-selling crook, Gem Diamond.

When Zack realizes he got ripped off on the class rings, he has Gem meet him at The Max, but brings Slater along for intimidation purposes. When Gem asks Slater what A.C. stands for, Slater responds with "Abnormally Cruel". Doesn't get any more clever than that. :)

One of the cheesiest, and yet most amazing shows ever. Well...until "The College Years" that is.
  • darbypitcher22
The College Years started it on the decline.... the New Class killed it
  • ss7
It's hard to believe that they even put the New Class on TV. They couldn't see that they milked this thing dry with the College Years?
  • ZeroCool
oil well episode was one of my favs
  • darbypitcher22
