Alwaysafan resigns from JJ Huddle
-
GymshoeI'm with you, Believer. I always enjoyed most of what AAF had to say. Sometimes he went a bit over the top with being a mod, but, in the end, he truly was "always a fan" especially of his beloved Coshocton Redskins.

King CurtisHe could be a bona fide jerk, but he was alright.

tuskytuffguyIf any mod was a douche, it's MPD.
-
v_falconsanyone know why he left? kinda sad actually..

I met him just this fall during the playoffs and have nothing but good things to say about him... he lives up to his screen name and more.believer wrote:...You're certainly entitled to your opinion but I know the man personally and he's a good guy. -
Trueblue23I'd like to see proof

JakeGiantMaybe he found a job.
-
berryMet him at a football game in '04. Nothing but good things to say about him.

Jesus ChristAlwaysafan is a good man. He serves his community admirably, and is an excellent father to his children.
Merry Christmas. -

+1. AAF IRL is a good guy.berry wrote: Met him at a football game in '04. Nothing but good things to say about him. -
2kool4skoolNever met him, but he always seemed like a decent guy from his posting. Maybe a little too firmly around JJ's nuts, but not even in the top 50 douche bags over there

hoops23lol, smh at Jesus Christ...
-
hang_looseJesus Christ, I hope you can live up to your name.

I agree with you on AAF....and regarding the JC moniker I sure hope you aren't related to Obama. LOLJesus Christ wrote: Alwaysafan is a good man. He serves his community admirably, and is an excellent father to his children.

darbypitcher22AAF was a pretty good dude
-
queencitybuckeyeOther than the "Oh woe is me" whining that his job "only" lasted 20+ years (what a backwards way of looking at things) and his constantly kissing Anshole's ass, I never had a problem with him.
-
SocietyHa Ha Ha! Everyone on here is acting like the guy died.
-
believer^^^AAF was - like it or not - the quintessential JJ Huddler. It isn't about AAF...it's about viewing this as yet another symptom of JJ Huddle's demise.

HereticI never had any real issue with him other than how roughly 85% of his 100K+ posts were a cut-n-paste of various site rules or meaningless links. He was one of the few mod/admin types who actually would be openly critical of things like the crappy servers on Friday nights and various other issues either caused by the Bucknuts folks or never fixed by them. It really isn't a huge surprise to me that he'd get disillusioned by the fact their decision ruined the site, since I'd guess it was a big part of his life considering how big of a presence he had on it since before I first was a member.

Tigerfan00Maybe there is another AAF on there right now, I cant view the threads but someone named ulsetman went through all the threads on the ST/I Forum and made posts one after the other and Im just wondering if its a goof or he is just bumping them
-
BRFI was going to do some "dealing", but since I read this "serious" post:
I'll just say two things:berry wrote: Met him at a football game in '04. Nothing but good things to say about him.
1. The constant posting of links was annoying
2. The constant meddling with the high school sport's threads was REALLY annoying -

He was critical of the servers, but he was also JJs personal bitch. Whenever JJ wanted to do something, he always had his goon there to help with it, which made AAF look bad by association to JJ's meddling in a site that was no longer his.Heretic wrote: I never had any real issue with him other than how roughly 85% of his 100K+ posts were a cut-n-paste of various site rules or meaningless links.
