BCBulldogHoly crap, how can these lists not include Steve Martin?!
-edit-
Nevermind, I guess he wasn't a part of the cast, but a frequent guest. -
hilliardfan^^^ I don't believe Steve Martin was a full-time cast member of SNL. I know he hosted the show many times but I don't remember him being a full-time member. That was long ago so I could be wrong.
-
WebsurfinbirdI'm surprised nobody included Andy Samberg, the only worthwhile current cast member IMO.
-
ptangzootSamberg is the best of the current class....but there are bunch of past castmates that were better....
-
cat_loverSamberg is funny and if the list was a top ten he would have been on mine.

No women on SNL have ever made me laugh and I have never been a big John Belushi fan. -
TiernanThe much under appreciated comic stylings of the late great Charles Rocket.

OUgradAre you guys kidding me? Where is Billy 'You look mahvalous" Crystal? And the guy that imitated Pat Sajak?
-
believerSNL was good in the 70's with Aykroyd, Beluishi, Murray, Curtin, etc. but has SUCKED ever since. I'm amazed it's till on the air.
-
Jimmie CopasIMO Hartman was the best.

He didn't imitate him, he was infatuated with him, but I can't remember his name. He was one of the three amigos with Martin and Chase.OUgrad wrote: Are you guys kidding me? Where is Billy 'You look mahvalous" Crystal? And the guy that imitated Pat Sajak? -

I'm surprised no one mentioned the character who played Pat. I'm guessing it's because they didn't know whether to categorize the actor as a man or a woman. -
SonofanumpFerrell is beyond overrated.

NNNKevin Nealon was the best of the Weekend Update anchors. When you have verbal humor combined with his low-key and extremely dry delivery, it pays off.
I also would suggest that anyone who would nominate Colin Quinn be horsewhipped.
