Good Story Grandpa
-
Ironman92Let's hear a few old people stories.
About 15 years ago my grandma went on one of those Triple A trips with several other senior citizens. She was gone for a touch over a week. When she got home we went to visit. She asked us to look at the pictures she took (in a perplexed/confused voice) There were 24 pictures...23 blurs and *1 with what appeared to be a telephone pole? After looking closer the blurred pics were of her own eye. She had the camera backwards the entire trip*...there was her eye in Boston, her eye in DC, her eye in Philly.
*The one correct picture....the strap of the camera was over the lense. -

Fab4RunnerMy grandma calls a bra a titty holder. And she also says a mini skirt has to be less than three inches below your snapper.

Grandma is classy eh?
My grandpa drove in reverse through the front window of a Big Bear Grocery store....grandma was checking out. Careful driving when you're 82. -

sportchamppsNot mine but my girlfriends grandpa is the man. He is 94 and a holocaust survivor. He just recently began talking about his past and how he escaped the Nazis. Appearently he escaped a concentration camp by running out a gate that was left open. He ran until he was found by the Russian army who gave him a gun and shoes and put him on the front line. He talked about sneaking up on a house full of nazis and firing in a window to kill them.
He also still works 20 hours a week as a tailor for Burlington coat factory. He started there after closing his tailor shop because his wife died. He was afraid they wouldn't hire him because of his age so he took 12 years off his age. It was funny because for his 92th birthday they threw him a huge 80th birthday party. He still walks about 5 miles each day lives alone and drives daily. Just this year he wore his first pair of jeans and now it's all he will wear. He also went a few miles with me on the back of my motorcycle this year and had a blast. When he got off he told us it was the first time he had been on a motorcycle since the 40's. He speaks 6 languages and has been through more then I can ever image. Sorry for the ramblings he just amazes me. -

Ironman92I believe ya....but 5 miles a day is hard to believe at 92. My granny is 85 but down to a mile and a half during the weekdays....she drives a candy apple red 1997 Honda Accord that still has just 32,000 miles. Lol

The original Forrest Gump -
sportchamppsYeah if you saw him he only looks like he 50. When he walks he still uses the little 3 lb weights in his hands and swings his arms head high. He went to the doctor a couple weeks ago and the dr told him he was fine and not to come back for 10 more years. He doesn't take a single pill for anything.
Another good story is he went to the mall to walk early in the morning. He saw a lot of people lined up at a store and decided if people are in line it must be for something free. He ended up waiting in line for the new jordans at foot locker. He couldn't believe people would wait in line to buy shoes. -

thavoiceGirl i dated in HS grandma, in her 90's, would go around and pass beer out to pretty much ANYONE at the family reunion. If you looked like you were Jr Hi or older she gave ya a beer!
What made it even funnier was one year it was the week of a big football game with our rival. 3-4 of the kids were from the other school, 2 of us from our school, and neither of us wanted to get busted so we had to decline.
and ole grandma didnt take too kindly if ya turned down the beer!
