Any good seafood buffets in Ohio?

  • wraith51
I know we're not exactly a hot bed for fresh seafood, but are there any good ones here in Ohio? Any time I search it's either an Asian buffet or Golden Corral. I was recently talking about good seafood places I've been too and King George's Seafood Buffet in Williamsburg, VA and now got a taste for it again. So yeah, anybody know of any good places here in Ohio?

Closest I can think of is the crab legs at any chinese buffet.

Honestly, seafood buffet sounds like a recipe for food poisoning. Just my opinion.

    I concur with that opinion.

Yellow tail in Akron. It's about as good as a seafood buffet in Ohio can get.

Famous words ... Poor people eat there

Good food at a Buffet type dinning … you have to be joking
Then you add to that Seafood … sorry but no thanks

I had eaten in many a dive, crazy street vendors, open market and small villages in many parts of the world. Willing prepared for the aftermath for the experience of trying good, different, unique and suggested culinary adventure. I’m not going to intentionally pay to make myself sick at a local mass produced food service.

I have a friend that works for the county food inspection department. … Other than a few other local restaurants, Buffet is next on the list.

The idea of a seafood buffet scares the hell out of me.

I don't give a shit dude, I work there to pay for gas so I can go to class. I'm not going to be offended if you don't like the pizza at the pizza chain I work for.

Did you expect me to be really invested in my pizza shop job or something? I do good work there but I'm not going to get in arguments or feel like I have to defend our pizza or anything. It'd be like someone who works at McDonald's being pissed that someone said the food there sucks. Wouldn't make sense.

That last post was mostly in response to "sorry it's not bad". I was saying that you don't need to apologize because one, you're allowed to think the food at any establishment isn't good even if I would disagree and two, it's not like I personally came up with the recipes and such and will be butthurt if you don't like them.

It's a good thing you spelled it out for him. He was getting ready to (poorly) type up a thread talking about how society is unraveling because you snapped at him.
