  "Attitude reflects leadership"! PERIOD! We have become a world of "good intension" parents with no regard to what results those "good intensions" get us. There was a photo floating around facebook that said "I'm afraid of a world run by adults who were never spanked as kids and got trophies for participating". The notion of what is "owed" to these youngsters is amazing, I have a nephew (who is all in all a good kid) who turned down a summer job because he didn't have a ride!!!! Its a mile from his house!!!!! He is a starting middle linebacker and his answer to the question "did you get the job" floored me. This is a smaller example of a much larger problem. I have a 4 year old, 2.5 year old and a 6 month old and I am scared to death of the world they will come to know! When I was a kid every parent knew every kid on the block, if you did something wrong at one house you got a beaten, that parent called your house and dad was waiting by the door to finish. No easy answers but wow is all you can say!!!! God knows I aint perfect but I'm sure trying hard!! LOL!!!!

  This was a flash mob like this in Kansas city when I lived there. It was at an outdoor mall area ( think a more upscale Easton.) the kids were actually robbing and beating innocent people walking around the area. One older guy about 70 was actually tackled and kicked by the young thugs. Luckily another person walking around knew how to fight and broke the three kids arms that were on top of the older man. The cops actually charged the guy for hitting a minor but charges were later dropped after the media outrage.
