BB and Bees

  • Belly35
I when out a bought a Crossman Pro77 co2 BB Pistol today. I liked the feel and the shape much like my Sig P220. I figure when I’m out on the patio, I can pick-off a few Bumble Bee on the wife flowers and get some practice shooting all at the same time. I also figure a few crows, brown birds, potential ground hog up the tree and those rabbit down by the garden this will put a little sting in their life.

What type of co2 pistol or rifle do you have?

For you Liberal it environmental safe no smoke :D

I have a red rider just like the movie. Its about 30 years old and still shoots like the day I got it. Love shooting the borer bees.

I take off my hat, swat the bees to the ground, then stomp them.

I do the same thing, at least with carpenter bees.

A ground hog lives under the old wooden shed in my neighbors back yard. Occasionally the ground hog sneaks over to my back yard to get water from the koi pond.

Unfortunately the chances of me dropping it with a bb gun is slim and none but it's been fun trying.

This is a fair fight: When I turned 60 I discovered I was now allergic to bee stings. My reaction to the sting was slow but still cost me a medical bill and Epipen. Same with poison ivy who know at 60 years old you become sensitive </SPAN>

Crossman 1088 CO2 pistol...shoots BBs and pellets. I'm curious what you guys use to keep your seals good on the CO2 cartridge seat. I get a lot of duds. Mfg directions say not to use a petroleum distillate oil...can't seem to find anything else.

Yeah but you are releasing CO2 into the atmosphere and contributing to global warming!
