Never heard of Roly Poly. Hell I didnt even know the 5 Guys was going in until I noticed it across the street from Chipotle.hoops23;1221850 wrote:We just got a Roly Poly in Sandusky. -

Sure. Where is that and what do they have? I have 2 days up there this week instead of the normal 1 so Roly Poly 1 and Berardis 2?Sonofanump;1221967 wrote:Berardis? -

They are known for their fries, they were the fries of Cedar Point at the hey day. The food is okay, it is next to 5/3, on the north side of perkins and just west of SR4. The better Berardis is in Huron. The brass pelican next to Kroger has decent chicken chunks, but they take awhile to get your food.gerb131;1221987 wrote:Sure. Where is that and what do they have? Brass Pelican has decent food but the service fucking sucks.Sonofanump;1221998 wrote:They are known for their fries, they were the fries of Cedar Point at the hey day. Beradis is blah... Their fry stand on the corner of Perkins/Milan is better than the actual restaurant. A handcut fry and italian sausage from the stand is money. -

If you find Roly Poly, just go across the street to 5/3 and there's Beradi's lol.. I personally wouldn't waste my time there though.gerb131;1221987 wrote:Sure. Where is that and what do they have? I have 2 days up there this week instead of the normal 1 so Roly Poly 1 and Berardis 2? -

I've never had Roly Poly. I've been told mixed reviews..bigdaddy2003;1221975 wrote:Never heard of Roly Poly. Hell I didnt even know the 5 Guys was going in until I noticed it across the street from Chipotle.
We're supposed to be getting a plethora of new places such as Cheesecake Factory, Red Robin, and a Longhorn steakhouse... Don't remember the others I heard... Hooters rumors keep popping up, but I've not heard anything official yet. -

Top 5 places to eat in your town not chain or named Zinc or Red Gables.hoops23;1222020 wrote:I personally wouldn't waste my time there though. -

My top 5 in no particular orderSonofanump;1222029 wrote:Top 5 places to eat in your town not chain or named Zinc or Red Gables.
Samurai Japanese Steakhouse (pretty decent hibachi chef's and prices aren't too bad)
New Sandusky Fish Company (GOAT Perch and right on the water... Fresh perch are brought in as you're ordering)
Water Street Bar and Grille (haven't ate here in a while, but a very nice local place downtown)
Danny Boys (very good italian)
Casa Real (authentic mexican and some damn good fajita's) -

The wife loves the Chicago Deep Dish (and we have eaten at Uno in Chicago) at Danny Boys. I like the food better at Nagoya at Catawba, but Samuri's prices are good for the quality.hoops23;1222037 wrote:My top 5 in no particular order

I do like Steak n Shake. Haven't been there in a while, but I do like that place.DeadliestWarrior34;1221966 wrote:I just ate at Chipotle for the first time recently and was sorta dissapointed. I could probably eat Steak n Shake everyday though.
I kinda see what you're saying about Chipotle. But that's because the way people have talked about it, I was expecting some sort of divine food of the gods. So just getting a good burrito was a bit of a disappointment. -
ernest_t_bassGoing to get some Jimmy Johns today, all bc of this thread.

Zubs is amazing but I don't really think of it as a sub shop. Then again, I just get the Lisa Simpson (grilled cheese) so what do I know.Pick6;1221486 wrote:Not really a fan of jimmy johns. It is pretty popular with my peers however. I prefer Quiznos and penn station over it. Mr. Zubs in Akron is my favorite.. I'd say a few more people who are from the area can vouch...
