I like mine heated in a skillet, but I will eat it cooked on an infrared.se-alum;1211509 wrote:Honest question, what's the difference between infrared and just making a burger in a skillet or on a griddle? -

HitsRus^^^I honestly don't know what you are talking about. Who cooks a burger on a skillet?....I haven't seen anyone do that since my grandmother...and she's been dead 25+ years. Gas grill weren't very common back then, and charcoal grills were a pain to get started...you usually only did them when you had a group of people over or a family picnic. I suppose a Foreman grill could be used...but again...why?

Infrared is still propane and grill. It has a basin that dispenses the heat evenly and prevents flair ups from drippings.se-alum;1211509 wrote:Honest question, what's the difference between infrared and just making a burger in a skillet or on a griddle? -

fan_from_texasGas. It's easier for me and less of a hassle when I just want to grill something up quickly.

Laley23Prefer charcoal, I think it tasts much better. But I use a gas for the quickness.
Really, the only time I still use charcoal is during a summer cookout (when you are going to be grilling all day) or at a tailgate. -
