Would you be cool if your significant other did a background check

  • gerb131

  • vball10set
    yup
  • Con_Alma
    Sure. Investigate away.
  • Pick6
    yea..nothing to hide.
  • THE4RINGZ
I would be ok with any kind of test she would run.
  • Rotinaj
As long as i gave her Aids before the test im fine with it.
  • sleeper
No, I don't date dumb ass hoes, I just bang them.
  • Curly J
I wouldn't mind as long as she lets me PIIHB afterward.

I wouldn't be worried about anything showing up. But I don't know if I would be cool being in a relationship with someone who had that big of trust issues that they would have to run a background check on me.
  • 1_beast
No! That would mean she has left the kitchen ans stopped making sammich's.
  • ernest_t_bass
    Without telling me? Not cool.
  • queencitybuckeye
She either has reason not to trust me, or she doesn't trust me for no reason. Either is a recipe for a failed relationship.

My wife's family did on me when we first started dating, without either of our knowledge. Her uncles, not parents. They are a family of cops and did it without telling anyone, not her parents I don't think. I have nothing to hide, but was pissed about it nonetheless. Be a man and ask me to my face about my legal past.

I wouldn't be cool with it. It seems like that's a pretty big breach of trust issue, isn't it? If she wants to know something, ask. If you can't trust someone, don't be with them.

Maybe her Uncles were too busy banging your mom to ask you to your face.

I change my answer because I didnt really read the question right. I would be fine with somebody doing a background check one me BEFORE we had a relationship. I don't really see the point of a significant other doing a background check, because you would figure they know a lot about you since you have a relationship together.

Now say I was asked to give a blood test for something, I'd probably be pretty fucking irate. Lack of trust.

    What's the blood test for?

Because you might lie about it? Hence getting the background check.

    I don't lie.

It's still sneaky, regardless. And, now, 12 years later, now that they know me and how I'm raising my family, and knowing I found out about it; they feel like idiots for doing it. So I've been told.

    No.

But if she is doing that....run. Run like the wind because she will only cause you trouble day after day after day.
