Proportion matters

Belly35The wife and I eat out a lot 2-3 time per week (we are trying to cut back some).
I have eaten at some great restaurants serving great food and a moderate price.
Yesterday we when to La Pizzeria in Canton, we hadn’t been their in a year so it was time to revisit.
The pricing was good, the food was very good and the serves was perfect but the “proportion” was over the top. Way too much food for the price. I ate half of what was provided and my wife ate even less. We could have split one dinner and be very happy and full.
IYO want restaurants have you visited that offers the best bang for the buck?
La Pizzeria at this point is a great price for the proportion served
In fairness what restaurant is a rip off for the price and proportion?
Never been a big fan of Friday or Quarter Steak quality is so-so, pricing is high for the proportion received. That same goes for Outback sure the cheese fries are huge but that only makes you think you got a big dinner for the price. -

I think for the most part the national chain wing joints are over priced and under portioned. HOoters, BW's, etcBelly35;1174212 wrote:The wife and I eat out a lot 2-3 time per week (we are trying to cut back some).

BORIStheCrusherClaim Jumpers, everything there is equal to 2 or 3 meals. I got these ribs the first time I went there (had no idea they were this big) and don't think I even finished 3.

sleeperI think restaurants give way too much food so they can charge more for it. They can make more money by giving you one unit of food for x more units of revenue, increasing their margins per customer.

Curly JAfter seeing the thread title I thought this thread would be about Fat Chicks.
I'd rather have a large portion and pay a little more than a smaller portion. -
