Chrome, FireFox or Internet Explorer

  • Commander of Awesome
firefox work/home. Safari/Chrome always take forever for me to load a new tab because of their top site feature. There's probably a way to get rid of that but I've never bothered to try.

    Firefox.

    Chrome doesn't feel "finished" yet.

    Chrome.

IE8 and IE9 aren't bad, IE7 sucks and makes my job more difficult. LOL if you're still using IE6, even at work. I'd quit my job if they forced IE6 on me.

We recently, well with in the past year, upgraded to IE8 where I work from IE6. It was major as so many systems relied on the old Explorer. I think we use over 400 different systems there if I'm not mistaken. Luckly I had not part in having to mess with any of them.

The developers that developed the old systems that would only run on IE6 should be shot. Seriously. They are all assholes.

I think the systems were developed when IE6 was the the latest and greatest over 10 years ago. Of course we didn't switch from NT to XP until 2005.

As far as developer go I think they are all assholes...personal attack meant !!! :p

Actually I've met a couple of developer a few years back for my company. They were pretty cool, but nerdy. They were surprised by all the little maintenance stuff we had to perform. Yep printers don't fix themselves and never even think to buy a new one. Just cannibalize from another.

we still have some machinery that is NT based....it sucks. Now all the machinery is XP based and windows 7 is hit or miss on some of the PLC programming, so I have to run XP mode on the new laptop....which also sucks.
