Thinking about taking the family down for the week of July 4th. Anyone ever been there? Worth the trip?

Go 100 miles south to Savannah Georgia.

I love it there. Going that same week. I lived there for 3 years during college. The beach is going to be paaaacked on the 4th. And to Folly there is only a 2 lane road in. Could be a long wait if you choose to go on that day. I think it is better than Savannah.

I wish I could help you more right now...I have only been once.

But, I will talk to my friend that LOVES it down there -- he's the one I went down there with. He'll know all the good spots.

Take a ghost tour. Even if you don't believe in that kind of stuff, the stories are pretty cool.
