Work

  • LJ
I'm getting quite burnt out. I just dread the stress and the hours anymore. Work at home 6-7:30, work in the office 8-4, work at home 6-??? Work on Saturdays and Sundays at all different times.

I am currently exploring other options with my life. I'm a giant wuss when it comes to life change though. Ask me again in 10 years and I will probably still be doing the same thing with the same damn complaints.

Well when you have 30 different jobs you are probably going to get burned out.

What did you major in, what was your GPA? I might be able to get you employed making a decent salary.

Once you get a real job and depending how many years out of school he is, these things are irrelevant.

I made no assumption that everyone hates their job. Funny that you conveniently cut off the rest of my sentence in your quote, where I stated I don't dread my job. If I don't hate my job, how could I assume that everyone hates their job?

This is a good point. I probably should have asked him how long he's been out of school.

Sorry, but no chance. I have very few inside connections that I would trust to a random internet user. You can ask LJ though, I think he has lunch with Gordon Gee every week and his mom babysits his grandkids.

I graduated last June, but also worked part-time in IT throughout my college career. Major was Criminology 2.9GPA.

I expect nothing from you since my major was one of those evil liberal arts.

    Current/Past field is in IT

    Super burn.

    I think this is a two-part question.
    A) Do you like your job in general
    B) Do you like where you work
