New tires for car

  I'm working with a friend to procure 4 new tires for my car. She works for a tire company and is able to get me a nice discount. Supposedly, these are the only offerings they have for my car...

  Those prices are not her discounted prices, but what they list [apparently].
  
  I know jack about tires... so my questions are...
  

  1. Are these good tires?
  2. Which do you suggest/prefer?
  3. Setting her employee discount aside, what are your thoughts on the prices? About accurate?

  Again... I know jack about tires, so any help is greatly appreciated.

  Not sure how much of a discount you are really getting.
  
  If I'm reading correctly, the KUMHO ECSTA LX PLATINUM XL BM 96V has the best load rating. 96 rating=1565lbs./710kg

  The Michelin Energy Saver markets itself for fuel efficiency.

  The other two choices just seem like basic tires, nothing really standing out.

  My wife had the Kumho's on her crossover for about 5,000 miles before we junked them. Traction in the rain and snow was almost non-existent. Don't know anything about the other tires

  When my dad and I used to have Mustang GTs we always used Kumhos on them. I feel like they are a great performance tire, but I was really disappointed with their all seasons.

  I never used those - but i agree they're great for sports cars. I had those, Toyos or Yokos on my mitsubishi depending on the prices.

  Not on your list of tires but (pretty sure) my brother put Hankook Optimo All-Season Tires on his Subaru Forester. Believe Kumho's came with the car and they were not very good.
  The Hankooks may have slightly more road noise then what came stock, but handling and traction is better.
  
  Saw on a review for the price, the Hankook Optimo all-season was one of the tops.
