lol, ok. You clearly don't understand it.LJ;1138836 wrote:Seeing as how everyone has said they only really use it for texting, I'd say it is.
They have also had Genius, which does a lot of the same stuff that Siri does. Plays music, searches the web, calls people, set an alarm, etc, all by voice command. Had that phone since Jan 2011.
Hope this helps
Just because people use it for it's BASIC features doesn't mean it's a simple dictation type app. The "new" iPad simply has dictation. Siri is much different.
Also, my original iPhone 4 has voice dictation. You access it the same way you do Siri... It's not like iPhones haven't had a voice assistant, it's just Siri is much more complex knowledge base.
Oh, almost forgot the obligatory Hope this helps. -
The EqualizerSet alarms, reminders, play certain songs, call numbers or text people, internet searches, ask it random shit etc. It'd be better if it could access apps or load them but for what it's allowed to do I get a good bit of usage out of it.

Androids is NOT as good as Siri's. I had Androids for years.LJ;1138822 wrote:Android has had solid text to speecy and speech to txt for years.

With Siri it is 100% voice command to text and she also reads texts back. Android just converts voice to text once you are already on the texting screen. -
