Is it true this time last year we had snow?

OSHI got it going in my office. Couldn't do it without it.
As for the house, not yet. We just open up the windows and let the nice fresh air go throughout. -
Steel Valley FootballYes, for several days now. My house does not have windows.

THE4RINGZNo. Still using the open windows.

Ha as the probably the only guy majoring in weather on this board I'll tell you last year this time we had two days in the upper 60s in March and 3 days total in the 60s. This year in Toledo we've had already 12 days above 60, 7 above 70 and 2 in the 80s! Overall we're running about 30 degrees above normal this March, which would be like it being 112 every day in July. The record for consecutive days in March at or above 70 is 10, currently we've had 7 and look like we'll tie that record. In fact we may actually break the April record for most 80 degree days as well. It's safe to say it's doubtful we'll ever see a heat wave like this in March again.said_aouita;1122394 wrote:Weather says it's 82 degrees. Is it warm enough for Air Conditioning yet?

Anyways I haven't turned on my AC in the house, just using a fan. The days aren't long enough yet to make it overly oppressive, essentially it's only hot for about 5-6 hours. I'm using it in my car though -
mellaNo A/C yet, and this time last year we had snow on and off. Our first MS lax game was snowed out.

Laley23Heck no. I can go till its like 80 at night. If its in the mid 70s I can do with just open windows. Cooling the place.

Well, I'm exaggerating....but we don't open the windows in our kids' rooms at night so it's pointless to open all the other windows as their rooms are the hottest in the house. So we just keep the AC on. -
osudarby08It's been on every night this week...Tiny apartment+ upstairs bedroom= sweatbox

The kitchen, living room, and our bedroom all have ceiling fans, so opened windows+ceiling fans=fairly cool. Also, the majority of our house is covered/shaded by trees, so it's just the back side that gets super hot, but that's not prime living space, so we're good with that. -
vball10setNo. It's March, for crissakes

ernest_t_bassMy daughters have seasonal allergies. Tried the open windows, but didn't work. Turned the AC on today, but it stayed relatively cool in the house, so didn't need to turn it on until late.
