Question about First Four in Dayton

  • friendfromlowry
I won tickets to the first session tomorrow night at UD through work. It goes without saying that it's gonna be hectic as shit, especially with Obama there. The first game is at 630pm so they're opening doors at 430pm and encouraging everyone to show up early. I will be getting off work around 5ish and would rather not go straight there. Anyone think it'd be smarter to just show up late? Maybe get there around 7-730 with the only "consequence" being that I missed the first half of the MVS - Western Kentucky game? I suppose I'd also get dicked over with parking but I'm okay with that. Is that probably the smartest idea?

Obama lands at Wright Patt AFB at approx XXXX hours. He then will get in a helicopter and land somewhere in that huge ass parking lot or maybe even the 50 yard line of the UD football field?
By chance is the football field and arena connected by an underground tunnel?

I'm gonna say showing up late is a no-no. Obama prob' gonna show up late, my guess.
    He's just making an appearance.

(edit) I wonder if me using an arabic name and talking about Obama landing at WPAFB is setting off all the alarms?

    Sh*t- I hear helicopters.

If you are not interested enough in the games to go right after work, give the tickets to someone that is!

I'd sell em for tickets in Columbus on Thursday and Friday

Demand is not very high for this any more, I don't think it even sells out. If it does it's due to sponsors and it won't be full. You won't have too much trouble.
