  Simple answer: when the site got larger and the Trivia/Info board became more of a main attraction than a diversion from high school talk. The middle-age/elderly cockholes running that place couldn't cope with the rise in smartassery and slowly started killing things with uneven and heavy-handed modding.
  
  And it didn't help that the average Downs-inflicted three-year-old has more business sense than their ownership.
