Side note, Dennis Miller is BORING
  • King Curtis
Dennis Miller is by far the worst guest host yet.
  • The Equalizer
Yea I like Miller's comedy and like to think I can keep up with it but that audience is like stunned sheep tonight. He needs to remember why he got fired from MNF.
  • ZeroCool
you beat me to it. i get his jokes and they are funny but the typical wwe crowd will not understand those big words.

    oh yeah. sheamus rulz.
  • King Curtis
Sheamus has been on for all of about 30 seconds tonight.

I could be wrong, but did HBK challange Undertaker to another match at Wrestlemania?
  • bigdaddy2003
Dennis Miller hasn't been that great but he is no where near the worst guest host. Mini me and ZZ Top were much worse.

Wow did you guys hear that girl screaming the whole time Cena was out there? I had to fast forward almost the whole way through his bit.
  • GoChiefs
And what about the terrible Kanye interruption parody. When are people going to realize that's played out and not funny anymore?
  • Jughead
What a terrible show to follow a PPV! This just proves that they have nothing left. I have not seen a match last over 5 minutes for the past 2 hours. The 6 man tag had potential, until Mark Henry was introduced as the last partner for his team. It's gone downhill from there, and it is reflected in the crowd by silence. That is by far the worst thing that can happen in wrestling, losing the crowd during your match or segment.

I knew the show was in trouble when Cena and Punk only lasted 2 minutes. I realize they wanted to build around handing out awards but cmon Vince. That was awful and did not showcase anything or anyone for that matter. I understand that it is over a month until the Royal Rumble but they better start building things up next week.

This was a show that had some guilty pleasure moments (Carlito-Masters-Eve; Tony-Abe-BDJ presentations; DX commercial complete with Snuggie, but there was so much stupidity that I just couldn't get into it.

Only one match lasted more than 2-3 minutes. And that match (the main event) did nothing more than show Cena's the M-A-N and Sheamus is just some little bitch who gets to hold his belt a couple weeks. I'd have been cool if Sheamus attacked Cena during the match to give him his promised win (but via DQ) and especially if he cost Cena the win via more subtle interference to make him look bad after promising he'd not lose again. Instead, this was a show to display SUPERCENA! And you have two crappy semifinal matches to lead to this one, five top young guys (and Mark Henry) get two minutes, a mere 2/14 Divas participate in a 1+ minute match, an insta-DQ in a tag title match to set up Jericho getting booted from the building and more crap.

The top two SD heels got (a) a brief Kanye-impersonation and (b) beaten by Cena in about two minutes. The RAW champ gave a (very) brief award speech and was seen taunting Cena as the show went off the air. The SD champ lost in a quick match to Orton via countout.

Dennis Miller just was out of place. A political comedian who uses big words on a wrestling show. The only highlight was HHH's botch of his name after he called HHH "The Show" instead of "The Game". His meeting with Jericho should have been great, with Miller out-vocabulizing him, but fell far short of my expectations.

Just a lackluster show with a few funny moments.

    Not Miller's wheelhouse for sure.

    Loved the "codpiece" reference though.

I'm still a Miller fan, but that's not his bag.
  • King Curtis
Johnny Damon is the guest host next week.

This could have been a huge platform for them to really begin to build Sheamus, but of course Cena had to be the show again.
