sportchamppsWhat is your favorite healthy foods.
Lately I've been on a boca burger vegan patty. The burger is great and only has like 100 calories. I also enjoy the mayo made with olive oil actually tastes better the. Regular mayo. What are some of your favorites. -

I'll bet it has super high sodium content. I'd be surprised if it didn't. I have a buddy who is a vegan and a lot of the vegan foods have a lot of sodium.sportchampps;1105391 wrote:What is your favorite healthy foods.

Shit, I had Salmon Saturday night for dinner. I guess I am eating healthy. I take that back as the buttery sauce was not healthy at all, but delicious. -

Salads [with romaine lettuce]
Carrots and/or broccoli with ranch dressing [yes, i know... the ranch isn't great, but it's better than a bag of chips]

Our two favorite easy, healthy dinners are the following:
Salsa beef over spaghetti squash
Pork chops and sauteed, shredded brussels sprouts (GOAT)
We have a few other regular recipes but I can't remember them off the top of my head. -

OneBuckeyeMy problem is finding a ground breakfast sausage at the butcher's case. (To avoid glutimate and Nitrates and minimalized processing) One store (Earth Fare) has a breakfast sausage but they put freaking red chili flakes in it. The point of the story, I usually end up getting a mild italian.

I don't have any recipe per se. I don't prefer adding sauces to it. Occasionally I have been know to add Worcestershire Sauce and a little bit of lemon but that would be rare.ernest_t_bass;1105495 wrote:What are some of your favorite salmon recipes?
High temp cooking for only 4-5 minutes usually. Under cooked is better than over cooked. -

I agree. I prefer mine cooked in olive oil with salt and pepper. You can get prepared seasonings at that store that are pretty good too.Con_Alma;1105524 wrote:I don't have any recipe per se. OSHIn the last 50 days, I've been eating the healthiest I've ever eaten. It's been fun and there are all kinds of different recipes for it.
It's mostly: eggs, vegetables, and meat. I drink water with every meal, usually -- otherwise, it'd be a small diet pop.
I made an onion, red pepper, and zucchini frittata last night...delicious! One of my go-to soups is lentil and turkey sausage stew. I have four other recipes saved that I'll be trying in the next couple of weeks. Another go-to meal is turkey-bacon wrapped eggs that are baked and a side of cottage cheese. -
