For those having speed issues with the site...
-
gorocks99P.S. it's still running slow on my end the majority of the time. Main forums load fine but individual threads are slower than a Penn State administrator reporting child abuse charges.
-
SnotBubblesI lied. After I posted that this site has been extremely slow. Especially when I try to reply with a quote.
-
dlazzI will be taking my talents to JJHuddle if this isn't straightened out soon
-
mcburg93Still slow for me using chrome. Home pages loads fine have to double click and sometimes more to get into a thread. Once in awhile get an error message also.
-
justincredibleDag nabbit.
-
chicago510Definitely faster on Firefox w/o logging in than on Chrome where I'm logged in.

I'll only move to Flagstaff. Phoenix is a kitty litter box.pnhasbeen;1097475 wrote:I just opened up firefox(not logged in) and I was much faster.
You should pay to move all of us to Arizona. -
WebFireMaybe the place would be better if we all stayed logged out? We wouldn't even need the basement!

Quoting almost always takes double clicking. Editing also lags.SnotBubbles;1097532 wrote:I lied. After I posted that this site has been extremely slow. Especially when I try to reply with a quote.
For once I hope this helps.....not being a smart ass. -
j_crazyI've never noticed an issue. But I'm in LA or ND all the time.

So basically, Ohio sucks at the internet. Alright, I'll move everyone to AZ, LA, or ND. Your choice.j_crazy;1097552 wrote:I've never noticed an issue. But I'm in LA or ND all the time. -

This. I noticed it yesterday, but thought it was my old PC.gorocks99;1097528 wrote:P.S. it's still running slow on my end the majority of the time. Main forums load fine but individual threads are slower than a Penn State administrator reporting child abuse charges. -
justincredibleI've updated some stuff that will hopefully stop the database errors. Working on some stuff for the double-click issues.
-
justincredibleYou might notice some threads that you've already visited will show up as unvisited. I changed the "read threads" option from database tracking to cookie tracking. Apparently the database option is no good if you have a large forum and it was never changed.

I've never had an issue and never had to double click.said_aouita;1097547 wrote:Quoting almost always takes double clicking. Editing also lags.

So it didn't help.
Thanks for trying though.
And this "reply with quote" was much faster.
Thanks Justin, reps for fixing the internet. -

ernest_t_bassHere is one thing I have noticed that has just recently changed (and it is minute). When I go to my subscribed threads, it says that there are recent posts in threads I have already read (if that makes sense).
