Partitioned hard drives
-
Scarlet_BuckeyeMy laptop's hard drive is partitioned into two drives. Local disk (C and Local disk (D. C: is the one with all the operating "stuff." It's total size is 20 GB, of which there is now only 846 MB left. D:, on the other hand, has a total size of 91.7 GB, of which there is 79.1 GB left. I've done a BRIEF search and apparently there is a software tool called PARTITION MAGIC that allows you to change the sizes. It seems to be about $80, however.
Has anyone ever had to do this before?
Is this relatively safe & easy to do?
Is there a FREE download that can allow me to do this safe, easily, and free?
Thanks in advance. -
wes_mantoothI usually just get rid of the partition.

Ehow also shows you how to change the partitions size if you search on there. -
baseball4Another electronic question since the topic is up. I have an old Xbox 360, but I'm almost 100% sure the disc drive is bad. It makes a lot of noise when it turns on and the game sometimes skips. If it's a cheap/quick fix, I wanted to fix it and give it to my nephew.
What ya think, Mantooth? -

baseball4Did you just fix an Xbox and make this video for me? Real man of genius.

wes_mantoothLol...no. I have never actually worked on my xbox. I have swapped out hard drives on my PS3, but that is about it.
