    1) It looks/sounds fake to me
    2) Shame on the father for humiliating his daughter in such a public fashion.
    3) It actually sounded like the kid might have had a legitimate gripe, albeit, she shouldn't have posted it "gripe" on Facebook the way she did.
    - Parents these days tend to think of their children as their own personal servants.
    - I'm all for a child making their own bed (assuming the age is appropriate) and helping out with choirs around the house, but let's not act like they are personal servants who should be taking care of every friggin house choir there is. You're a grown man... you can help with doing some of the choirs too! (again... I don't know the ENTIRE situation here).

I think this "cowboy" (and a cowboy who does technical work?!) was waaaaay out of line here (again, don't know the history between him and his daughter, but). GROW UP YOURSELF!

Why would he or his kids be helping out with 'choirs'? Is he a pastor of a church or something?

    j/k

    NEG this man.

So its ok for his daughter to be a bitch and talk shit about her parents, but not ok for the Dad to use the same forum to punish her and make an example of her?

You can't spank your kids anymore, can't yell at them, now you can't post on Facebook about them...I blame soccer.

Hope he smashers her phone next.

Clothe her, feed her, shelter her and send her to school. Nohin more. No more ammenities for this ungreatful one.

I would hate to see his reaction when he finds the pictures of his daughter blowing her boyfriend that they posted online.

The guy did fine by me. as someone else said to complain about this points out the pusyfication of america. Before the nineties kids were whipped did most of the work around the house and didnt back talk. now kids bitches when they dont get their way they dont have any work ethic pretty much they become lazy.

He can barly talk and I'm supposed to believe he has an it job and works at a clinic. I nope he realizes she won't be able to see his video since she doesn't have a computer to use anymore

He mentioned that in the video. It seems he talks better than you listen.

It was a bit over the top. Fake or real, I have no idea.
    2) Shame on the father for humiliating his daughter in such a public fashion.
Assuming it's real, I actually agree with you. Posting it on her Facebook wall I'd have no problem.
    3) It actually sounded like the kid might have had a legitimate gripe, albeit, she shouldn't have posted it "gripe" on Facebook the way she did.

And after we had such a nice moment on your previous point. :D

Are you kidding? Unless you're aware of a whole lot of chores this girl is made to do that the father didn't mention, we're talking about (at most) an average of half an hour per day. Do you really think that to be excessive?
I think this "cowboy" (and a cowboy who does technical work?!) was waaaaay out of line here (again, don't know the history between him and his daughter, but). GROW UP YOURSELF!
It did seem to me (again, if real), that this was not a father who likes his child very much, which is not to say he doesn't love her (completely different and far more important).
  • OSH
Yep. Chalk another fan of "attaboy!"

Anyone take a look at his facebook? It's pretty funny. It has pretty much exploded with all the attention this story has gotten. He even has a post talking about his daughter's response and how "cool" things are with her. She knows she did wrong and she's come to terms with it. They've sorted it out.

How so? Watching your redneck father go full retard isn't going to make the daughter respect him more or anything. All she is doing now is plotting how to move out the minute she turns 18.
