If you think a dominating HS is more impressive than domination at the collegiate or pro level then you are nuts. HS you are competing in your division and basically your neck of the woods wherease the other two you are competing nationally with the best of the best.

Yeah.....one can annoint a team a national championship in HS, but...and especially back in the day, how can ya have even a clue how accurate that is? Few years ago our HS team was ranked nationally. ALot of people were kinda cool with it and touting it. I blew it off becuase how in the hell can some publication really rank HS teams nationally when ya dont play teams outside your general area? I was on a team that finished undefeated and I think 13th in the nation according to the USAToday. When we were told this I was like cool...but a couple of days later I remember teammates and I talking about how taht is even possible ya know for them to accurately rank teams that way. It is a little diff nowadays with the travel and media and seeing teams play on TV and at showcases, but back then it was nothing but stats on a piece of paper.

The national titles are impressive, but also to win the Big 10 (easily the toughest wrestling conference) 25 years in a row is just plain ridiculous. You will never see any team in any sport dominate their conference like that again in division 1 sports.

Beating opponents 2,393-168 isn't a written on paper ass whooping... that's owning teams more than your wife owns your testicles.

I do wonder if the Bulls would have won the '94 and '95 titles had Jordan not retired. Eight straight titles would have been amazing.

Victory totals of 36,571 to 0. The Christans scored several times, but butseks in the dungions were not official scores.

Wrestling is more of a regional sport. I don't recall the southern teams even having wrestling teams.

So while Iowa is impressive, it doesn't stack up to sports played everywhere.

Besides, I view wrestling as more of an individual sport...like tennis, golf, and track.

UCLA went 206-4 over 7 years. I'll take it.

Very true. Utter domination over a long period of time that's more impressive than just about anything on this list.

I guess UCLA, but it would have been the Bulls had MJ not walked away.

I voted bulls because they won 6 out of 7 and would have won 7 is Jordan didn't leave IMO. UCLA would be number one but I don't think college teams are franchises.

It's not wrestling's fault that southerners are pussies.

Hey, just be glad there is no such thing as SEC wrestling, or the Big Ten wouldn't be able to compete in that either!

This X infinity. 23 national titles and two spans of 8 consecutive titles and 6 consecutive titles. Easily the most impressive. In a sport that has an emphasis on individuals, to be able to dominate as a team makes it that much more impressive. It means the members of the team make each other better by training together everyday.

The SEC can't compete with the B1G, which is why they decided not to have any wrestling. Plus, they can't oversign or break the rules as easily in wrestling like they can in football. And no booster is going to pay $200k for a wrestling recruit like they would Cam Newton.

Alright....which douchebag homer voted for the Steelers?
