  The dude's mark up on restoring stuff seems really expensive.
  IMO- some of the stuff they bring in to be restored looks better left alone, with some wear and patina.

  Kinda agreed, but some of the stuff he gets in is nasty.
  
  I was surprised he wanted 5500 last night on two items that seemed pretty simply to restore and not many pieces to get.
  Wonder how much the oil cost that he put into that oil holder piece! Probably put a big markup on that too.
