OneBuckeyeNow that it finally snowed in NE Ohio I was thinking about hitting up Boston Mills this weekend to enjoy the winter. Hope to make a trip to big sky this spring. Anyone else go yet?
-
SnotBubblesI'm going Sunday to Mad River Mountain and taking my 5 year old...his first time. Looking forward to it.

ernest_t_bassNo, I have not.

AutomatikI went to Hidden Valley, PA over the weekend. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not ideal. Only half of the trails were open and it was pretty slushy in the day and icy at night.
The entire NE is hurting for snow. It's getting colder in the coming days so it will improve. I'm hoping Vermont gets dumped on asap. I want to go to Killington. -

Fun little hill. Many drunk New Years crashing down at MRM. Even more of a good time when the motel was still open.SnotBubbles;1037039 wrote:I'm going Sunday to Mad River Mountain and taking my 5 year old...his first time. Looking forward to it. -
JerseyBuckWill probably head over to Seven Springs this weekend.

Indeed, right in my backyard so it's nice. This will be the first time I've skied there when I haven't been intoxicated. I'll probably be bad.said_aouita;1037104 wrote:Fun little hill. Many drunk New Years crashing down at MRM. Even more of a good time when the motel was still open. -
ernest_t_bassI used to work at Mad River Mountain, only so I could ski for free. I fell asleep on working the lifts a few times.

Scarlet_BuckeyeI have a MAJOR itch to go snowboarding right now; especially after yesterday. I was thinking about hitting up Brandywine this weekend (Brandywine is 10x > Boston Mills), but I'm still worried about there not being enough snow.

TiernanHit Breckinridge, Vail and Keystone the 5 days after Christmas. Not all runs open yet at either park. But a major snow was coming the day I left (yea figures!) and I haven't even checked the websites to see whether everything opened or not. Vail particularly was still awesome and we had a blast.
