Tough Mudder Michigan/Ohio

Belly35I was looking forward to the Tough Run with my daughter from Chicago but injured my foot. We have plans for something this summer but I’m not healing as quickly as expected. Nothing broken in my foot but after running a few 100 yards the ball of my foot start to hurt and will continue to be painful for days. </SPAN>
Sleeper meet Belly .. I can make this happen. Interested? -

I have had it Xray and two Doctors give me opinions both stated the same . Did not see any fracture or broken bones ... One did say that one of the foot bones looked out of place or was out of place but the bottom line was a deep deep bone bruse -
I Wear PantsSo it could have been broken at some point then. Did they see any calcification indicating that there had been a fracture? And deep bone bruises can suck.

No mention of calcifation nor any talk of old facture or old broken bones.I Wear Pants;1036963 wrote:So it could have been broken at some point then. Did they see any calcification indicating that there had been a fracture? And deep bone bruises can suck.
When it first happen everything seemed to be Ok and I just started off running but within minute the hurt slowly got greater and continued to hurt all day. I tried to think back how I could have hurt my foot but nothings comes to mind out of the normal daily activities that would have injured my foot. The next morning the pain was really great and I could not put any pressure on my foot. It fine now and I can walk and move around great but if I start to run I can feel the pain starting ...
Not much I can do to support the ball of my foot and stop the impack of running ... I just have to slowly let it heal ... One Doctor said it could take a year or more -
I Wear PantsYeah those things can take a while.
