  It really is a wonder how he still has his job with his infractions and such. I would have to say for a couple of reasons. 1. His name. He is big name who played in the NFL.
  2. Have to wonder who would want to take that job. I forget his normal title at the school, but it it was along the lines of a job that I best most woudlnt want either.

  They were put on probation for a couple of years not too long ago.
  
  They had a player who was supposed to be living in their district. An investigator busted them. The address they put down was a place no one was living in. It was empty and when they dug deaper they found that the electric bill was equal to one lightbulb being on for the month and that was it. When the dad was approached by it his answer was he works alot, and that they eat out every meal so of course the electric bill would be so little.

  Shaw was announced as a 2007 Alter captain at the team banquet in December '06 after having an outstanding season with the state runners-up Knights. He especially caught the eye of many college recruiters with his performance against Steubenville in the finals.
  
  Shaw promptly withdrew from Alter over Christmas break and enrolled at Trotwood so he could qualify to run track that spring.
  
  The word was that he would get better recruitment help for college with Douglass than he was getting with Alter. There was also the little fact that there was an upcoming junior running back named Chris Borland who, along with Corey Roark, would limit the amount of carries Shaw would get if he stayed at Alter.
  
  After Shaw's dad sent out Alter game films to colleges, Michael got offered a full ride and verbally committed to Penn State prior to the '07 season... without having run a single play as a T-M Ram. Turns out that Borland ended up with better '07 stats (except TDs) than what Shaw had. Although Mooney fans may not agree, many people think Alter would have not only beaten Coldwater in '07 (an incredible 3OT loss for Alter), but quite possibly would have gone on to win state that year with Shaw, Borland and Roark in the backfield.
  
  In another display of the type of character of Michael Shaw, just as he reneged on his Alter teammates for his senior year, he also did the same to Penn State when he announced on national signing day that he would not be playing for Penn State, but would be signing with Michigan along with a couple of his buddies from Trotwood that Douglass helped arrange.
  
  As far as T-M soliciting businesses and the public to pay for their 2011 championship rings, I would not give a penny to help. T-M runs a shady operation throughout it's athletic department and throughout it's school administration. The infractions that Douglass and his staff have accumulated would be reason for dismissal in virtually any school. Even Cincinnati Taft had the sense to get rid of their former NFL player as head coach when he brought shame to the school.

  Quite possibly. CW played out of their ass that game, the QB making perfect throws to well covered receivers, and receivers making unbelievable catches in that game. It is quite possible he would have made the difference. I def think they could have beaten Mooney in the finals as well.
  
  I did email the person who wrote the article, short and sweet, but nothing bad, and havent heard back.
  
  I still find it funny they want the public to fund rings for players, cheerleaders and administators.
