Rush blows now? You must have been talking to the wrong person. I saw them with my dad last year and they still kicked ass. Geddy's voice is obviously strained from age, but musically they were unreal and the show was great. -

I think there is a comma there and he was talking about Squire, Howe, Downes... -
Con_AlmaMy son wants to see Red. Never heard of them. Asked to go next time they are near.
We'll see. -

Really? I thought Axl Rose is a shell of his former self and the vocals would be awful.thavoice;1028829 wrote:If GNR woudl get back together I would love to see them. -

That is, of course, if axle can sound even remotely close to what he used to.Sonofanump;1028847 wrote:Really? I thought Axl Rose is a shell of his former self and the vocals would be awful. -

said_aouitaSaw the flier at the Rock and Roll HOF- The Clash, New York Dolls and Blondie all appeared the same night at CBGB's, way back when.
That woulda been fun. -
justincredibleI've seen most of my favorite (newer) bands in concert (Black Keys, Tool, Shooter Jennings, Leroy Powell). Also caught Paul McCartney this year which was awesome.
I'd like to see the following:
Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd (if they ever tour, so it'll never happen)
Prince
Willie Nelson
ZZ Top
Fleetwood Mac
Avett Brothers
Trampled by Turtles
Mumford & Sons
Puscifer (will likely see them in Cincinnati in March)
I did see a Led Zeppelin cover band (Get the Led Out) last night and they were pretty awesome. Their version of Kashmir was damn near perfect.
