Planning on seeing the girl with the dragon tattoo?

  • SportsAndLady
If so id keep the kids at home lol VERYYYYY fucked up scenes, especially one in particular (rape scene)

But overall, the movie was fantastic..I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for part two and three.

I know some were worried about daniel craig being a 007 type actor in this..nope, he was very good.

Let me know what u think about that ending..I have an idea but will wait to post until others have seen it.

And I really wanna fuck the dragon tattoo chick lol

(edit) I'm not much of a fan of hoops in the lip or no eyebrows but Rooney Mara is hot.

I hadn't heard of her until this movie. Found it interesting that her great grandfathers were Tim Mara, the founder of the NY Giants and Art Rooney, the founder of the Steelers.

Saw the American film at the theatre tonight, came home and watched the subtitled Swedish film. Interesting perspective from both film, they both changed from the book a little bit. I think the Swedish was closer to the book. I was surprised the sex was more gratuitous in the American film. Rapace is built in the body more like the book describes, Mara looks more like her in the face and is a bit more like her post surgery.

Excellent movie, but yes, this movie could have almost got a NC-17 rating.

I would NOT take even teenagers to see it.

It wasn't just the "rape scene" was worse than I expected even though I knew there was going to be a rape scene.

It also wasn't the only reason I would have given it a NC-17. The revenge from the rape scene, some of the pictures of the "past crimes" etc were VERY graphic.

I have not read the book. Can you elaborate on your post surgery comment?

    A to B.

The more I think about it, I liked the Swedish version of the film better. I really disliked the Anita/Harriet change for the American movie, no Australia, no phone call, dislike that Solander just leaves a note on his Apple MacBook Pro with a 17 inch screen and 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 processor instead of the detective work done, no Billy&#8217;s Pan Pizza. </SPAN></SPAN>

Saw it this past weekend with the wife (her second time seeing it). They left a lot out from the book, but it still worked. Thought it was very well done. I just wish they hadn't revealed some from the second book.

    I also didn't like this.

This also, the milk bomb should have not been talked about yet.

Agree also. The US version was very well done, but some of the dots didn't connect as nicely.

Loved all 3 Swedish films, and this one (American) didnt disappoint. So I cant wait for the next two. Its been awhile, but from what I remember its a little more action, but a little less detective work (in Played with Fire and Hornets Nest) right?

That's odd and seems out of character to me. I don't see her modifying her body in a way that would appease men.

I also hated in the us version when she asked for permission to kill someone at the end. I'm not sure if that was in the book, but she didn't seem to me to be the type to ask for permission.

She did not, she only went to a B.
