  Growing up, we'd usually have a fire in the fireplace on holidays.

  No doubt ya gotta be careful, who ya share yer wood with. I've heard stories of guys sharing wood that ending up on fire, even without a flame.

  I usually have a fire in the fireplace every night in the winter...Duraflame or the equivalent.

  We to have a fire on the holidays but it depends on the weather and temperature outside .. With 12 people in the house it gets a little warm.
