Testosterone - Testforce 2

  • baseball4
Hey guys,

I'm looking to cut some weight and go more for the lean look. I spoke to one of the doctors that works in the emergency room at the hospital I work in. He said the fastest way to melt off any excess fat would be testosterone. Due to the fact that he was busy I didn't get to ask him many questions.

I was wondering, is it safe for me to try Testforce 2 without having my testosterone levels checked? This is my first go with anything like this. I've been taking creatine and glutamine and I drink protein shakes. My biggest fear with a testosterone is the developing of tits and baldness. I'm not sure how common this is, but it kind of freaks me out. Is there a way to kind of guess your natural test level? And is Testforce 2 even a good supplement? I bought it months ago and I've just been hesitant to give it a try.

    Thanks.
Probably don't want to introduce artificial hormones into your system unti you have had somemedical tests. Synthetic hormones can trick the body into a state where they stop producing natural hormones. I'd do some more research first.

    Take steroids

Might as well take caffeine pills and run around with an irregular heart beat all day. Probably safer.

Shouldn't take caffeine pills. If I learned anything from Zack Morris and Jessie Spano, it's that those things are dangerous as hell!

    Agreed.

My first question would be...how old are you? Unless you're in your 40's, starting to accumulate additional unwanted abdominal bodyfat and can't "bring the wood", so to speak, your test levels are probably fine.

If you are older than 40 I'd go see a doctor and have some bloodwork done. It could be low T, which in that case he can put you on some type of testosterone therapy, or it could be high cortisol contributing to that bodyfat.

There's no sense in supplementing healthy testosterone levels with MORE testosterone if you're already perfectly fine. As mentioned, it can throw your body out of whack.

Bullshit. That will tear down muscle like no other. Plus you'll likely get a "runner's gut" from all of the carbs you'll need to eat to fuel those workouts.

You want to keep lean mass you do sprints or explosive movements (Prowler, tabatas, etc). That long distance shit will tear down muscle big time.

I understand your theory and know your sources. Why do boxers run all the time if it is not in their best interest and how do they keep from having runners gut?</SPAN></SPAN>

If the OP is 20 pounds over weight (which most people are).....there is no lean look gonna take place without burning off all those calories. I believe my 2 time muscle mania champion borther in law would disagree with you since he did 45 minutes of cardio a day.........
That's easily done by tweaking your diet. You don't need to kill yourself running marathons to cut up/drop weight. He could hit the weights heavy, WALK 30-45 minutes on an incline on the treadmill OR run 12 minutes of tabata interval sprints 2-3x's per week (BOTH won't tear down muscle like distance running) and get jacked & ripped. LESS is MORE. Distance runners look like distance runners for a reason.

They run for stamina. It's a necessary evil in that sport. That also do a TON of explosive movements & sprints.

When was the last time you saw a world class sprinter that look like an Ethipoian distance runner? Conversely, when was the last time you saw an Ethipoian distance runner that looked like Usain Bolt?

I have been a runners for 7-8 years now. My first time out I couldnt run 100 meters without stopping and hurting big time.

Running is a great way to burn fat no doubt about that. I dropped 75 with running, eating better.

With that said....when i was training for half marathons my appetite increased big time! I lost more weight while running shorter races like 5,7 and 10K's and focused a little bit more on speed and more interval training. WHen I was doing the HM and started to get to the weekly long run of 6 or more miles (usually maxed out at 15 miles 2.5 weeks before the race) I actually started to gain a little wait because I was so flipping hungry.

With that said....I think running is a great way to burn it.

I would listen to BR though.....he has helped me in the past in touting the HIIT workouts and such for burning fat. The shorter, sprints, intervals did more for buring fat than the loooong, slower runs.

I cannot decide so I try to do it all: P90X weight routines three times a week. Insanity Cardio & Plyo for two days. Once a week I&#8217;ll swim a mile, yoga and other cardio like either a run (5-10K) or bike (40K) or basketball once a week. </SPAN></SPAN>

Never been lazy, champ. But thank you for trying to come in and be funny.

I'm training for ToughMudder in April. I'm not heavy. I'm 5'10" and 190. It's just a 10-12 mile military grade obstacle course and I want to do well in it.. not JUST finish. Just looking for things to help me prepare.
