Why? I bought a Mac because they don't break or get viruses. I just want a computer that works.ernest_t_bass;1021682 wrote:LOL. That'll be the day. -
vball10setno virus, but I see this way too often
[h=1]Website Offline, No Cached Version Available[/h]The website you are trying to access is currently offline. The most likely causes are the server is down for maintenance, there may be a network problem, or the site may be experiencing excessive load.
The site uses CloudFlare in order to help keep it online when the server is down by serving cached copies of pages where they are available. Unfortunately, a cached copy of the page you requested is not available, but you may be able to reach other cached pages on the site.
If you continue to receive this error after you believe the site is back online, you can retry a live version of the site. -

Ironman92Got another and it happens when doing vbookie stuff.
You ever had any trouble on vbookie lotz?
SEAlum.....what do I need? If I can't get something to keep this from happening I'll be done doing anything vbookie. I enjoy doing threads and vbetting....but cannot keep doing this.
Thanks to those who give a shit and care to help. -
GoPensHaven't had a problem here.

My wife was trying to fix and saw where it had malewarbytes on it? -

What virus are you having? I got some trojans that messed with my registry and I kept getting a TCP/IP error message. I ran malwarebytes, then booted to the "Last Known Good Configuration", and the problem has gone away.Ironman92;1026761 wrote:Malewarebytes....but not the free one?

Ironman92Keeps coming up XP12 or whatever wanting you to click to keep files from being infected or damaged....but once it's on the screen the computer is already infected. Looks like it's wanting you to buy their computer cleaning software/hardware whatever....I never click to do it but it's infected now 3 times all around vbookie stuff.

If you're on Firefox, there will be a little red stop sign on the upper, right hand side of the page with "ABP" in the middle of it.Ironman92;1026858 wrote:I honestly don't know. -
said_aouitaI'm guessing you already had the virus and something on this website is making it pop up. Gotta find the location/properties of that ad (that cleaning software ad probably is the virus) and remove it.
I doubt Vbookie gave you the virus. -
Ironman92Was on vbookie all 3 times my computer was infected.

Ironman92No triangle in right corner

I have never had any problems with this site.
The particular virus you are talking about is a pretty bad one I think. One of my friends dad had it on his computer this summer and I couldn't get rid of it so he had to take it somewhere.
He got it from clicking on links in peoples profiles in Yahoo games. He would play hearts for hours at night. -
se-alumIf you're on Firefox, go to tools>add-ons>Get Add-ons. It will probably recommend Adblock Plus.

I did run a malwarebytes scan that I haven't run in nearly a year (bad, bad I know) I expected to find a good deal of junk...I had 2 issues, minor. So I actually feel pretty confident that what I'm running suits my needs.jordo212000;1026940 wrote:Yeah same for me -
