I didn't really think that was the case, but I may be thinking about a return. Seems maybe the Nexus camera/sensor isn't all that (seems I read the one good review), and the Rezound actually has more DPI resolution. Pretty marginal, but really the only thing the Nexus has in its corner over the Rezound is ICS (which the Rezound will get in probably a month or two) and being unlocked (Rezound will be eventually, if not already).gport_tennis;1016146 wrote:I like the rezound hardware better than the nexus hardware, but I will probably wait to see 4.0 on the rezound before I get it
People who have used the Rezound camera really seem to like it. -

I would love to, but I am trying to get one of those 100 off coupons that verizon sent out all over the midwest....that way i can just cancel my backordered Nexus.gport_tennis;1018046 wrote:Btw if anybody still wants to buy one I got a couple left in my store

Also, I was in a verizon store and ran quadrant on the Rezound and got a 2400+ score on it. I just watched a review on wirefly of the Nexus and it only scored a 1600+. The guy noticed that it really struggled on the graphics part of the test. He was reviewing the 4.0.1 version...not the actual launch version...not sure if that matters. -
gutQuadrant hasn't been updated since February, so I don't think it gets a very accurate read on dual-core phones, much less one running ICS.
Actually where the Nexus hung-up on the quadrant score is the read/write portion - which could be an issue because it has no SD card and quadrant doesn't know any differently. I can tell you the phone is smooth and flies. -

Good to know. I think we are going to just wait on it...won't be delivered till the end of the month. I got a good deal on it.gut;1018892 wrote:Quadrant hasn't been updated since February, so I don't think it gets a very accurate read on dual-core phones, much less one running ICS.

hoops23I've been seeing some disappointing reviews of the Samsung Nexus.

yeah, me too. I think that since it is a new version of android...there will be some hiccups. I just hope it gets fixed quickly.hoops23;1019106 wrote:I've been seeing some disappointing reviews of the Samsung Nexus. -

Could you link a few that you've read? I see a number of people complaining about the camera, and some are apparently having 4G issues. Outside of that, the tech geeks seem pretty pleased. But the Rezound users seem to be raving about it and its cameras, so I've got about two weeks to decide on a swap.hoops23;1019106 wrote:I've been seeing some disappointing reviews of the Samsung Nexus. -
ManO'WarMy 4G in Pittsburgh flies....but in Steubenville we still only have 3G, so while I'm home I have to actually wait a second, lol.
The camera isn't as good as my wife's iphone, but it is better than other phones I have had.
Of course if you're that big on taking pics, then you should go buy a real camera. -

I'll look around, but most of the reviews can be found on Youtube. I know Leo Laporte (sp?) didn't care much for it.. Thought the battery was poor, camera was ok, but not up to par with the 4S, and thought the ICS actually hurt the user experience on the phone.gut;1019703 wrote:Could you link a few that you've read?
