Pretty cool. Instead of having a limited audience with a special on Showtime or HBO he used his own money to produce it and is selling the show for $5, drm-free, on his website. Anyway, just passing it on since I know there are plenty of his fans on here. -

Here's an update on the special. He has made over $1M on the special. he donated $280K to charity and $250K was given out as bonuses to his staff. Sounds like it was a success.
