Moonshiners
-
bases_loadedFTR ABC agents are a joke. Acting like they are saving the world by infiltrating a poker night with some moonshine.
There are so many worse things in the world than homemade whisky, glad we waste millions on policing it. -
said_aouitaMaybe Discovery taped even more moonshiners and the only ones who made the show are the ones who end up getting caught.
Just another stupid thought, that I hope helps. -

Because even though it's volunteer I'm sure once they know he isn't following the law they wouldn't want him on the fire dp was my thought. -

Probably gets caught by the ginger in the end -
WebFireHere is something I don't understand about moonshine being illegal. The reason it is illegal is because of the tax evasion. So why is it actually illegal to make it? What if I wanted to make it for my own consumption. Or, what if I want to make it and pay the whisky tax so I can sell it?

Its all government bullshit

bases_loadedThem "protecting" us. Protecting equals a way to tax us.

You can make your own wine and beer but once you start to make so moonshine, oh no it's not ok. The only reason it's illegal is b/c the Govt can't regulate it and tax it.bases_loaded;1006998 wrote:FTR ABC agents are a joke. Fab1bAnyone watch last night? Tickle was seriously hammered and fell off the still and bounced off Tim's truck. Priceless!
-
End of LineI've been watching it.
I swear Tickle is drunk all the time! I also think Tim gets busted by those joke cops at the end of the season. -
sherm03The most mind-boggling part to me is that these hillbillies can hardly speak...yet they understand the science behind making stuff like moonshine and meth. It's crazy!
-
Fab1bI too think he is going to get busted
-
WebFireIf you go out and read about this show, Tim is a licensed moonshiner and he is only doing this stuff for the show. The cop has stated that the moonshiners in the show are not actually producing moonshine, so no laws are broken.
-
gerb131Be bullshit if he went legal. He wouldnt sell shit. And yea Tickle banged him self pretty good or so it seemed. Of course 2 cases of Miller Lite and a half jar will do that to ya.

Tim isn't legal yet. At least, not according to his website. It says he's still seeking investors to try to go legal.WebFire;1024043 wrote:If you go out and read about this show, Tim is a licensed moonshiner and he is only doing this stuff for the show. But you are correct that they are not actually making moonshine in the show. They're just sort of going through the motions, which is why they are able to do it without getting arrested.
Tim has to go legal now. It's out there that he is a moonshiner. The cops will be watching him very closely now that they know he does this. So the only way he'll be able to make anything is if he goes legal and opens his own distillery. Otherwise, he's out of business. -

I would think he would do fine due to the exposure of the show.sherm03;1024564 wrote:Tim isn't legal yet. At least, not according to his website. It says he's still seeking investors to try to go legal.

GlassySo what did everyone that watched last night's finale think?
I thought it made ABC agents look like idiots.
Oh and I really got a nice surprise when I Googled "Banana Brandy" while trying to find a good recipe -
Fab1bThose bumpkin ABC agents are a joke! Wonder if they will do a follow up on Tim though and hell Tickle needs his own show LOL!
-
Heretic
This is true. A grown man named Tickle who is drunk as shit just about every moment he's on the air is pure ratings gold!Fab1b;1039927 wrote:Those bumpkin ABC agents are a joke! Wonder if they will do a follow up on Tim though and hell Tickle needs his own show LOL! -
GlassyIf Tim goes legal, the show is in trouble. Not that I think they are really brewing moonshine on the show, but they will just about be out of characters with Popcorn dead and the Tim and Tickle duo being legit.
I guess the Barney Fife ABC agent can easily go another 4-5 seasons before he makes a big bust. But he is stupid sounding and boring to watch. -
End of Line
