Christmas Lights
-
SnotBubblesI have put them up every year since our oldest son was born. We started small, and usually add about 4-5 strands per year. I have my whole front porch with lights and the 3 bushes in the front yard now. Haven't bought our lights for the year...bay window on the front is what I'll add.
As soon as the kids are out we'll stop I'm sure. But for the kids (they want them up) we do it...plus my oldest likes to help.

And I'll give you the same advice I give my wife. You want Christmas lights hung up? The ladder is in the garage. Have at it.power i;997885 wrote:So, "unless my wife really wants me to" is code for "she bitched at me until I couldn't take it anymore"? My advice to you is do it before she even asks. My husband and I fight about one thing. Christmas lights. It's getting pretty bad right now, but he has told me yet again, he'll do them today. I'm not holding my breath.
Not a fan. -
power i^^Lol. I did that once and it wasn't pretty.

coyotes22I have not ever decorated the outside of our house.
Now the inside, yes we decorate every year, and the kids help. Thats the main reason we do it, for the kids. -

Personally a tree in the window sounds a lot more retarded then hanging lights. If putting anything in windows as decoration for Christmas, only thing acceptable is the white (only white) electric candle lights.ernest_t_bass;997819 wrote:Do you put them up? I hate them. It's retarded, if you ask me. I'll put the tree in the window, but I don't see the point of decorating my damn house with Christmas lights.
Thoughts?
