This course looked like it had a lot more mud than the one in VA.

BTW I'd so throw up too.

I really want to do one of these.

    Good stuff, IWS.

After watching a few more videos, I really want to do the one in Cleveland in April. Looks really fun. Good job, IWS

    Epic work IWS.

    IWS, classic.

What all is included in this tough mudder? What is the distance, etc? I don't really care to look it up. I know this doesn't help.

Nice job man. I didn't end up running TM this year because after the NY marathon, I didn't have it in me. But definitely will be participating next year.

~25 obstacles, 9-12 miles, shrunken nutsack.

    Hope this helps.

Also, IWP looks stoned as hell in that second to last pic.

So you get a discount if you sign up as a team....Team OC for one in Ohio during 2012?

    Any takers?

I'd be game. I've already got a group of guys to do them with but if we all joined up we could get a bigger discount. In the end the only thing being a part of a team gives as a benefit is the discount so it really doesn't matter what team you sign up for.

We are already committed to doing the one in Kentucky (an hour east of Cinci) in October. We will probably be doing the one in Virginia again. I'd also like to catch one in the spring and one in the summer.

I'm in. I would like to do one in the spring and, if possible, in Ohio.

Justin- Is there anyway to change the OP's username?

Yawn. Back when I was in 'Nam we used to do this 3 times per day with live ammunition.

Excellently. I've never had a problem with them running trails, a Warrior Dash, and now a Tough Mudder. My feet were numb for quite a large part of this race but people with regular shoes were saying that as well.
  • justincredible
My feet were number from Chernobyl jacuzzi til the end and it was the 3rd obstacle in normal shoes. A friend wore wool socks and his feet were warm the whole race. Bastard.
  • I Wear Pants
I'd think the wool socks would just hold in lots of water making your feet heavier and colder.

Yeah they had the jacuzzi as the 2nd or third obstacle here as well, bastards.

I would have thought the same thing but he said they were great.

Have him run without them next time to see if maybe he's just less of a pussy than we are and doesn't get numb feet.
