Nitric Oxide Question

  • baseball4
Any weight lifting junkies on here? I was curious as to how safe a basic NO product was. No fillers, no additives, just plain old Nitric Oxide.

I take Kre-Alkalyn 1500 and Gluta-lyn pre workout and then I take the Kre-Alkalyn post workout with a protein shake later on.

After reading an article about the possible health affects of Nitric Oxide I was curious as to how reasonable and/or safe it would be to combine it with creatine. I know most of the NO products on the market (like NO Explode) come with creatine in them already. I'm also trying to avoid all of the fillers and stuff when I take supplements to avoid any possible health risks. If it is safe to combine with creatine, are there any NO products that you recommend?

    Thanks!

Wouldn't see an issue with it but I'm not a doc. I've combined the two with no issues.

What are you looking for in an NO? If you're looking for the supposed "pump" it provides, I think that's myth/bullshit. Most people I know who use it get amped/jacked up energy but no "pump."

That being the case, I'd go with Jack3D. Don't believe it's an NO product but it will get you wired & focused with no calories (I believe, don't quote me on this) or fillers.

Nitric oxide is the same premise as Viagra, except for lifting, and I believe NO may be in Viagra.

All this being said, I stopped taking a "pre" and just chug a cup of coffee prior to heading out to my garage at 3:15am. :D

This is the article I read that I was referring to. I've tried staying natural for the most part. I don't want to take something that's going to make me lose a kidney in 10 years or grow tits.

If you use steroids properly you won't lose a kidney or grow tits.

Not a fan of NO. I feel like i chugged a red bull before lifting. It makes me light headed and negatively affects my workouts. Everyone reacts differently though so it may work for you, but it was similar to an energy drink kick x2 for me.
