    Freaks.

I've always wanted a squirrel. Is that bad?
  • SQ_Crazies
    No, you're a Keebler elf--you live in a tree. I'm surprised you don't already have a squirrel.

If I could catch a baby squirrel, I would have one and I would let him sit on my shoulder like a parrot on a pirate.

Just don't let it in your bed like they did the deer. Squirrels like nuts you know.

Good idea. I'd rather keep my nuts.

LOL thinking about following that deer around cleaning up after its dirties.
Or, can you paper train a deer?

It said in the article that it is litter box trained.

when I was younger, my brother and I were out in the barn playing..and this baby deer was lingering around.. man we sat out there for HOURS, waiting for this deer to come closer. Each day he would come closer and closer, and at the last second bolt! after about a week, we let my mom know about it. She asked if we had seen any other deer with it, and we hadn't. So, another week went by, us hanging out hours on end..waiting. Finally we gave up, it was winter, we were froze. As we headed back to the house, the baby buck followed us..it was really awesome. After that day, we had him in the house . He became a pet instantly to us.. Once he got bigger, we made part in one of our barns for him... he loved it! THEN, some odd years later..we had a coyote problem..and they managed to chew two of his legs off, it was sad. We had to put him down.. luckily my dad caught the actual coyotes that were inside the pen..and needless to say, those bastards didnt make it out! Im still ticked about that to this day!

Cougar! That's no way to speak of your mother!

Our squirrel's name is Arthur. He is four and we found him on the ground and couldn't find his nest or his mother. He lives in a floor to ceiling cage and he has every toy known to man and for a while had a fellow orphan squirrel for a playmate, but unfortunately that squirrel (Ira) died. As to the question regarding the deer....we couldn't possibly do it where we live now, but there is no question that my wife would pick the squirrel over me in a heartbeat. We also have a number of other animals and have always had animals throughout our marriage. My Boxer and I have long conversations about the quirks of women.

My mom was following a car that hit a deer that had a newborn with her. Mom the softy she is took the newborn and bottle fed him. This little buck would run around and play with the little mut she had. It was really funny to see this thing chasing the dog and hit the hardwood floor. Legs flying everywhere.
When the deer was weaned she took him to a petting zoo.
I often wonder how that deer made out.

Yes you can, nothing should really surprise you around there anymore after 23 or so years of witnessing it!
