Zombie Movies

ernest_t_bassCurrently watching Dawn of the Dead (2004) on SyFy. What are some of your favorite Zombie movies? I'm a fan of Zombieland, myself. Can't recall many others that I have seen, but I know there are plenty. Oh, and of course, Zombie Strippers.

Trueblue23The original "Night of the Living Dead" is probably my favorite, with the original "Dawn of the Dead" 2nd.
-

I Wear Pants

The EqualizerNight of the Living Dead '68
Dawn of the Dead
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Day of the Dead (do NOT watch what they called a remake a few years back)
Return of the Living Dead
Return of the Living Dead (more of a comedy almost but I love it)
28 days/weeks later -
enigmaaxShaun of the Dead

Commander of AwesomeNever a fan of the 28 Days series. The george romero series has mentioned is the best.
-
The EqualizerHow could I forget Shaun?
-
enigmaaxAlso, White Zombie. And do either of the Pet Sematary movies count?
-
The EqualizerI'd say Pet Semetary counts, they're kinda zombies. They made a 2nd?
-
Automatik28 Days Later for me. That opening scene of deserted London is so badass.

Yes. It was somewhat comical. The dude who came back from the dead is more zombie-like (which is why I thought of it) than the kid in the first. The Equalizer;916896 wrote:I'd say Pet Semetary counts, they're kinda zombies. They made a 2nd? -
enigmaaxAnd before Gibby comes around to this, I'll go ahead and say it: Thriller.

dwccrew28 Days Later is my favorite. I love zombie movies, even though this one isn't a traditional zombie movie (where the dead come back to life) it is my favorite because of its originality, so-to-speak.

OneBuckeyeShaun of the dead and Zombieland are the best. Zombies are comedic gold.

Heretic
And he was played by Clancy Brown in ULTIMATE OVER-ACTING BADASS JERK form. He made that crap movie watchable.enigmaax;916903 wrote:Yes. It was somewhat comical. The dude who came back from the dead is more zombie-like (which is why I thought of it) than the kid in the first.
The original Romero trilogy is tops for me. -
bigkahunaIt's not a movie, but I'm slobbering over the return of The Walking Dead
edit: Just looked it up; Walking Dead premiers on October 16. -

These ones were pretty good (given the fact the spoofs sometimes get too campy for me).OneBuckeye;917073 wrote:Shaun of the dead and Zombieland are the best. Zombies are comedic gold.
28 Days later also ranks up there for me. That opening scene in London is pretty good (Shart myself everytime he runs into that car, and the alarm goes off). But, the man in the church popping up is the best/worst thing ever.
