Any decent japanese steak houses on the northern 270 loop in Columbus?
Suggestions on a good one that wont break the wallet.

    Thanks in advance.

There aren't any that will make your wife happy.

    Hope this helps.

    Well that is pretty obvious.

I am more thinking about taking out the mistress.

I'm no expert, but House of Japan is pretty decent in Dublin.

What's the budget your wife is allowing you to have?

And will she let you order yourself or will she pick what you're going to eat?

I've only been there once, but it was pretty good as well. I thought just as good as house of japan.

Another vote for House of Japan at Tuttle.

Benihana hands downs and I've tried them all.

In before the "we went to a japanese steakhouse and my wife yelled at me for ordering something she didn't want me to eat" thread.

Shi chi is my favorite in dublin, but only because it's never busy. The food is just as good, but the atmosphere is not nearly as nice IMO.

I may order a beer even. She cannot get up and leave there like she did locally a few weeks ago!

Do ya need to get a reservation at that place on Tuttle?

I was gonna say House of Japan as well.

You need a reservation at lunch if you don't want to wait in line. I imagine it's not different at dinner.

I prefer Shi Chi as well. Their salad is a hell of a better than House of Japan. I could eat their salad everyday lol.

'Decent' + 'Japanese Steakhouse' is an oxymoron.
