  Yeah, because it's so hard to believe he could have been born out of this country. Then you hear from the left "you wouldn't hear this if he was white." Give me a break. They asked John McCain for his birth certificate 4 years ago. The fact that his dad was from Kenya and he spent a lot of his childhood in other countries could be a good reason why it was brought into question but that would certainly take the victim card out of it for the left.

  The orignial birther was Hillary Clinton. Clinton staffers were on this path back in the democratic primaries in 2008. I guess her inquiry do not constitute a "witch-hunt"?
  
  Going back to the previous comments, when a conservative is found to have committed adultry or turns out to be a closet homosexual, libs also state the offense is so much worse because conservatives are the party of "family values". So by comparison, if the left is the champion of women's rights and racial harmony/tolerance, wouldn't it be more egregious when they prevent a woman from breaking the glass ceiling? If libs believe a conservative politican is a racist for saying something nice about a 100 year old man (Trent Lott) then how bad is it to make a big deal about a white woman bedding someone when we are supposed to look past color?

  I think this story is bogus and totally ridiculous that such things are even news but I think the idea is for this gadfly to show that Sarah Palin has/had jungle fever and to see if she's a Tea Party darling after it's revealed she likes dark meat with the implication being that the hardcore social conservatives, which Sarah is supposed to represent, don't take kindly to that. 46% of Mississippi Republicans for instance believe interracial marriage should be illegal. Will those same Republicans still support Sarah Palin if she had a fetish for boning black dudes in the 80's and deep down wants to bed half of the nemesis that is Barack Obama?
  
  Also, fetishizing a person's race for sexual arousal purposes I imagine does not lay the foundation for the type of post-racist harmony-world full of puppy dogs and rainbows that the feminist female libs you speak of desire. In fact it's probably just the type of racism African-American Studies Professors and all those people object to primarily if I had to guess. So, if Gov. Palin did bang Glen Rice based upon a "fetish" grounded in racial stereotypes I'm not sure you could get away with saying "look libs she's not a racist!" Now I'm not saying she's a racist cus I think that's silly but I am saying that your claim is also silly IMHO. A woman bedding a black dude because of a "fetish" for black dudes isn't looking past race.

  I think the big question to whether the political bias deal is really a factor should be what Glen Rice's political beliefs are, since he agreed that this happened. He could be part of the world-wide conspiracy!
