Browns Game (Parking) Help
-
ernest_t_bassSo, I'm fortunate enough to have received tickets to the Dolphins @ Browns game on September 25th. My sister used to work at a sports marketing firm in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area, and Devon Bess was one of their clients. She was able to score two tickets, one for me (Dolphins fan) and one for my brother (Browns fan).
I have never been to Cleveland, only through it. I have no idea where the stadium is, and I obviously won't know where to park. I know we have a lot of Clevelanders on this hell-hole, so was wondering if you could please help a brother out. I will be coming into Cleveland on Eastbound 80/90.
Here you go, for those who don't care to help:

power iI have no clue, but we're going to the Browns/Bengals game this Sunday My daughter's boyfriend's cousin has a huge tailgate then we're going to the game. Cannot wait. Even bought myself a new Bengal's shirt for the occasion.

HereticPRO TIP: This is a great opportunity for any Cleveland-knowledgeable poster to give Ernest directions to a part of the area he won't escape alive. Reps to anyone who pulls this off!
-
ernest_t_bassI will either wear the following T-Shirt or my Dan Marino jersey (that is about two sizes too small).

Commander of Awesome
Best way I've found is in re-heating in a skillet on a stove. But I will eat it cold.
justincredibleWhen I parked for the Browns/Jets game last year I was able to find a spot on some side street for free. I probably had to walk a mile or so to the muni lot for tailgating from their but I'm not a lazy piece of shit so it was no big deal.

like_thatMaybe you will rep your 2nd least favorite poster. I normally park at the Mall. It's very close to the stadium, and parking is very cheap compared to other options.

THE4RINGZPark in Collinwood and walk to the stadium. Parking is less expensive out there. I suggest valet parking in that neighborhood.

hangonsloopyWe always take the rta in from green rd. It runs to the stadium now so that's what I plan to do sunday. $4.50 round trip.

I've had friends that take 80/90 to some stop, then ride the train to Indians games. Would this same train take me to a Browns game?hangonsloopy;886617 wrote:We always take the rta in from green rd. It runs to the stadium now so that's what I plan to do sunday. $4.50 round trip. -
iclfan2Muni Lot is the only viable option if you want to tailgate. Although you are wearing Miami gear and will be ridiculed. It costs about $20 a car. If you'd rather go to some bars, park at 200 public square and walk to some bars on West 6th (or east 4th, but its further away).

passwordWe are talking about the Browns, you should be able to drive right up to the main entrance of the stadium and park inside. If you agree to honk your horn when the score, they will toss in a free hot dog.

You obviously don't know browns fans. I just head towards the stadium on Ontario Street and park in the first available spot...but I always go I-71.password;886698 wrote:We are talking about the Browns, you should be able to drive right up to the main entrance of the stadium and park inside.
