Steel Valley FootballI'd like to bang LJ in the keyster while he and dynasty debate the pros and cons of escrowing.
He would most certainly give me reps when I was through w him. -

thavoiceGood infor LJ. Dont know if having it in escrow is necessary for my mortgage and yeah, I would probably be better served saving that money and earning some interest and such but I guess it is the price to pay to make sure it gets saved and done.
Your answer was right. I actually got another letter last night stating that my taxes will go down now due to it starting in 2012 so that was cool -
Steel Valley FootballWell, considering your taxes are a function of your assessed value, lowering the assessed value will lower your taxes paid; ceteris peribus. It's not rocket science.

thavoiceno shit sherlock. My original question was if I had to do anything now or if they would automatically get adjusted.

Will the bank adjust the amount you put into escrow? Or will you be overpaying for a while?thavoice;887562 wrote:Good infor LJ. You'll overpay until the bank gets the actual bill.FatHobbit;887632 wrote:Will the bank adjust the amount you put into escrow? Or will you be overpaying for a while? -

Dammit. That is a good question, one that I guess I will have to get asked. If i remember right the letter said the information gets passed on and such so I am thinking it will auto adjust. Wont start until the next payment in January so I have time to figure it out.FatHobbit;887632 wrote:Will the bank adjust the amount you put into escrow? Or will you be overpaying for a while? -

Then will they adjust it for the second payment of the year?WebFire;887635 wrote:You'll overpay until the bank gets the actual bill. -

My bad. I thought it was obvious. That's like asking "If I earned more money this year and my income goes up, will my income tax due automatically get adjusted"?
That's kind of pompous on my part, I know. But, I'm smart like LJ. -

Your next payment will be lower, so I would think that your escrow payment could be adjusted now. I don't think they do that, but it would work out mathematically.thavoice;887674 wrote:Dammit.
