basically, I had one of my pegs or whatever they are called (the things that hold the strings down by the bridge) snap when I was re-stringing my guitar.
I took it to a local music store and had them replace all the pegs and went ahead and restring it for me. I had to be at work shortly so I picked up the following day.
The guitar sounds great and all, but everytime I put my finger down on the 2nd fret of the D string, there is a really noticable rattling noise. IT is only on the 2nd fret too.
I can't figure out as to why my guitar would make that noise only when the 2nd fret is being held down on the D string. The sound does not happen on any other string or any fret.
ANyone know why it may be doing this?

I'm just guessing here, but push down on the D string peg as you pay it on the second fret to see of the noise goes away. Try pushing down on the same string above the neck and see if there is any difference. That should tell you where the problem arises.
